Sentiero is working toward an APPIC-Accredited (Association of Psychology Postdoctoral and Internship Centers) postdoctoral fellowship in psychology. Prelicensed (Master-Level) Clinicians
Sentiero also provides training for master-level clinicians seeking clinical hours for licensure to practice in California as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC. Our master-level clinicians must graduate from an accredited social work, marriage and family therapy, or clinical counselor program and are trained alongside postdoctoral fellows. In addition to specific requirements from their respective board, all clinicians will be trained according to APPIC and APA standards. DODSkillBridge
Sentiero currently offers a Behavioral Health Administrative Assistant position via SkillBridge to support enlisted servicemembers preparing to transition from active service into civilian roles. We are committed to serving our military populations and are overjoyed to offer a training program for those interested in administration, human resources, and psychology. Sentiero also offers a Licensed Psychologist position for officers who want to transition from active service into private practice as a civilian. The training plan includes opportunities to learn business management, build a private practice in the civilian sector, contract and credential with insurance companies, supervise psychology trainees, develop programs, conduct psychological research, and work toward publication. After successful completion of the program, the psychologist has the choice to stay with Sentiero or venture into solo practice with a full caseload built during SkillBridge.
